Presenting the Guinness Shake, a tasty drink to celebrate St Patrick’s Day this March 17th. Using Guinness beer because is full bodied and with dark color and creamy. This beer being a stout pairs very nicely with vanilla ice cream and the bitter almost chocolate like flavor add an interesting dimension to the drink.
Here in Florida, believe it or not we are already having spring weather with daily temperatures on the high eighties, so this beverage was a welcomed treat when testing this recipe for the Guinness Shake.

The celebration of St. Patrick’s Day is held annually on the same date: March 17. This celebration began as an official Christian festival in the early seventeenth century and commemorates the arrival of Christianity to Ireland.
Over the years, this celebration of St. Patrick’s Day has become an international festival and same as in Ireland this festivity is also recognized in many cities around the world where the Irish heritage and culture are celebrated wearing green and eating Irish traditional dishes. And here in the United States is no exception, you can enjoy parades, dancing, and special Irish foods too. For example, in cities like Chicago the river is painted green to commemorate this legendary Irish tradition.
Any Irish celebration requires a Guinness beer that is why I am suggesting to make this Guinness Shake. A nice treat to join the St Patrick’s celebrations. The Guinness beer craft started in 1759 by Arthur Guinness who created the blackest beer with a creamy flavor. Using a brewing method that has been passed down from generation to generation.
